Chris has been part of the WA settlement industry since 1981, working with both large and boutique agencies before founding Federation Settlements in 2011. She is currently the President of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers WA (AICWA), representing the industry and advocating for best practice across the state.
Passionate about raising professional standards, Chris is heavily involved in training and education for the next generation of conveyancers. She delivers the Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing and mentors many up‑and‑coming settlement agents.
Over her career, Chris has managed everything from first‑home buyer settlements to complex land subdivisions — always ensuring clients feel informed, confident, and supported from start to finish.
Matt’s journey in the settlement industry began straight after high school when he started as an outside clerk. He spent three years working closely with settlement agents, building a strong foundation in the conveyancing process.
After a decade in IT support and web development — skills he still uses to streamline and modernise settlement processes — Matt never lost touch with the industry, often helping friends and family navigate their own transactions with guidance from Chris.
Returning full‑time to conveyancing, Matt brings a unique blend of traditional knowledge and tech‑driven efficiency. His focus is on making every settlement smooth, transparent, and personally rewarding for clients, ensuring they feel supported from first contact to final settlement.
